The Weymouth & Portland Round Table is excited to announcce that its annual family festival SummerFest 2025 will support two fantastic local causes – Weldmar Hospicecare and The Front Skatepark.
Now in its third year, Summerfest has developed into south Dorset’s most popular family festival. In that time it has donated thousands of pounds to local good causes, including Weymouth Lifeboat Station and Dorset Air Ambulance.

Pleased to be part of SummerFest 2025, Weldmar Fundraiser, Eden Fraser said:
“We are thrilled to be one of the chosen charities for SummerFest this year. It has proved to be such a popular event, and right now, Weldmar really needs the support of the local community, so that we can continue to provide specialist end-of-life care for adults with a life-limiting illness and support for their loved ones.”
Just before Christmas, The Weymouth & Portland Round Table presented The Front Skatepark with a £1000 donation to support their fantastic community work.
Delighted to be working with The Weymouth & Portland Round Table again for SummerFest 2025, The Front Skatepark Manager Lisa Kille said:
“We would like to thank The Weymouth & Portland Round Table for their recent £1000 donation and look forward to working alongside them at SummerFest 2025.
“Their donation will support community projects including Skateboard GB coaching sessions for local schools, work experience placements for young people and engagement activities for adults with disabilities and additional needs.
“The funds will also help us keep the skatepark well-maintained and equipped for all users.”
The Weymouth & Portland Round Table have launched a JustGiving page to support their fundraising goals for these two great local causes.
