We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a new fun-filled family festival at Redlands Leisure and Community Park on Saturday 3rd of June.

Entry to the SummerFest event is free although an optional donation can made on arrival, with proceeds going to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and the Round Table’s defibrillator fundraising appeal.

Weymouth and Portland Round Table Chairman Adam Luckhurst said:  “SummerFest is shaping up to be not only one of the largest and most popular events in Weymouth this summer, but also the biggest fundraiser in Weymouth and Portland Round Table’s calendar – so save the date of the 3rd of June in your diary now.

This year we’ve made donations to local good causes including Fancy’s Farm on Portland, Chickerell Primary School and Portland Gig Club with more donations set to follow in coming months.  Round Table members have raised thousands of pounds at fundraising events, including running a Gin Bar at Weymouth’s Fayre in the Square festival in May, with more events set to follow into 2023 including SummerFest.

Following the donation of £1,000 to help The Famous Old Spa in Weymouth purchase a defibrillator we’re also now raising funds to support the introduction more of these life-saving machines in public areas.  More information and donation details can be found on the Round Table’s Just Giving page.

Weymouth Round Table is a registered charity made up of committed volunteers with varying backgrounds, trades, skills and talents with an ethos of loyalty, tradition and good will, who want to make a positive difference to Weymouth and Portland.
